General Terms & Conditions
The Silk Museum (incorporating Paradise Mill) is part of The Silk Heritage Trust, a registered charity (number 519521).
Before making your booking, please carefully review your selection and the ticket type, date and time you are booking for. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded, or returned.
Once you have completed your booking, you will receive an email confirmation containing a barcode. This is your ticket, and it will be sent to the email address you provided during the booking process. Keep the ticket safe and be ready to present it to us for redemption when you visit (either as a print-out, or on an electronic device).
The following definitions apply:
An Adult Ticket is for those aged 18 and over, up to age 64
A Concession Ticket is for people aged 65 and over, students, or young people aged 13-17
A Child Ticket is for a young person aged 12 and under.
Proof of registered disability must be provided to enable free Carers Tickets. We will accept the following documents:
Letter/notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance/Personal Independence Plan
Letter from your doctor
Blue parking badge or Freedom Pass
All major credit and debit cards are accepted (VISA, MasterCard, Maestro).
All prices are correct at the time of publishing. However, they are subject to change without prior notice.
Group booking rates may be available in advance. Contact the Silk Museum on bookings@silkmacclesfield.org.uk to enquire about a group booking. Similarly, school bookings are available. Contact us at education@silkmacclesfield.org.uk to find out more.
Visitors are reminded that for technical or operational reasons, some facilities may be removed or closed, or events cancelled and/or altered at any time.
The Silk Heritage Trust reserves the right to change the programme of events if, at any time, it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so.
The Silk Heritage Trust reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse entry or admission, or to remove from its premises, any visitor.
